Kaitlin and Laurie’s Story
I usually keep my personal life private during our sessions, as my priority is to provide you with a professional, comfortable, and stress-free experience. However, I'm facing a heartbreaking situation that I can no longer stay silent about.
Two incredibly important people in my life, Kaitlin and her mother Laurie, are experiencing a devastating crisis. They have gone six years without the help and support they desperately need, and recently, they nearly lost their lives living on the streets of Middletown, CT. I am terrified for their safety, especially as they continue to face the dangers and mistreatment that come with being homeless. Watching two people I love so dearly suffer in these circumstances has been heartbreaking, and I feel compelled to do everything I can to help them.
I know so many people are struggling right now. The rising cost of living, the difficulty of finding resources, and the fear or shame that can come with asking for help can leave people feeling hopeless and alone. I understand how overwhelming life can become, and I know how easily people in crisis can be overlooked.

There are more people suffering alone than we realize. No one should have to face a crisis without compassion, support, or hope. Sometimes, simply being willing to listen, share someone's story, or offer a helping hand can mean the difference between someone feeling forgotten and knowing that someone cares.
